With the NFL draft over for another year, Rookie drafts are in full swing and it's improtant to get your first round selection correct. Having completed 10 Superflex Rookie drafts on MFL, I have compiled the adp of each player (in brackets beside each player) and also included my ranking below. If you have an questions hit me up on twitter @JamesMaguire21

1. Trevor Lawrence (1.11)
Lawrence has been cemented as the Superflex Rookie 1.01 for a long time, and I expect him to be taken first in every superflex league. He went 1st in 9 of my 10 leagues and the only league he wasn’t selected first in was because the same owner had the 1.01 and 1.02.
In the short term I would expect Lawrence to be starting from week 1 and could end up with QB1 numbers. While he may not have a true WR1 on his team, he has a good group of pass catchers, and 2 good RB’s to help him in his rookie season. You can feel confident taking him with your first pick.
2. Jamar Chase (2.7)
My favourite player among this years rookies, Chase should emerge into a WR1 almost straight away, and I expect him to challenge for the top Dynasty WR before long. Having been selected by the Bengals and reuniting him with Joe Burrow was a great landing spot and I would feel confident taking him with my 2nd pick, even in Superflex. As the average draft position shows he generally goes between picks 2 and 3, but I have seen him fall as far as 1.05 in leagues with QB needy teams.
3. Justin Fields (3)
4. Trey Lance (3.7)
5. Zach Wilson (5.2)
I would select QB’s with the next 3 picks and would rank them in the above order. I think Fields is probably the most boom or bust pick of them all due to his landing spot with the Bears. However with so much upside and his ability to run the ball I’d be willing to take a chance on him before the other 2.
Lance is the safest pick of the 3 having a nice landing spot and a good situation to walk into.
Wilson has lots of upside but having seen how Darnold worked out with the Jets you have to be a little apprehensive. However, the Jets appear to be giving him more weapons and a better chance to succeed, and he could be a bargain at his adp of 5.2
6. Kyle Pitts (4.7)
Pitts is a fantastic player and could be one of the best TE prospects ever. His landing spot was also very good as the Falcons have been in need of another great TE. However I do feel he has been hyped up alot, and don’t think he can possibly live up to it. Tight Ends usually take a while to produce in the NFL so it remains to be seen if he will be an asset immediately or not. I’d be happy to take him in the 6-8 range and he would be my rookie pick 6. However if you look at his adp he is going at 4.7 and has gone as high as 1.03 in my leagues.
7. Najee Harris (5.4)
Harris is the clear RB1 of this rookie class and landed in a perfect situation for immediate success. The Steelers have been crying out for a bellcow RB and they should have it in Harris. He’s generally going around pick 5 but could be the top pick in non Superflex league. I’d rank him at pick 7 but would be happy taking him anywhere in the 5 - 8 range.
8. Devonta Smith (8.8)
I like both of the Alabama Wr’s in the draft but I am a little higher on Smith (and adp agrees with me here). He should already have chemistry with Hurst, and if Hurst can develop more as a passer Smith could turn into a bargain. The Eagles have shown they have faith in Hurts and they traded up to get Smith so they could reunite them. They could become a deadline combination going forward.
9. Travis Etienne (7.6)
Etienne’s stock may have fallen a little due to landing with the Jaguars, who already have Robinson in the backfield. I am a fan of Robinson and what he did last year was fantastic, however I think Etienne’s draft capital will eventually make him the lead back in Jacksonville. You may need to be a little patient, but if you can grab him in the back half of round 1 you could be getting a bargain.
10. Jaylen Waddle (10.3)
Waddle is generally being taken 1 or 2 spots behind Smith in rookie drafts, but he is just as talented as Smith, and should also succeed. Alot will depend on if Tua progresses this year, but the Dol[hins are giving him all of the tools he needs. He’s another strong pick in the back half of round 1
11. Javonte Williams (8.6)
Williams has been the big riser in this years draft class and is primed for success in the NFL. Due to his landing spot you may need to have some patience as it may be 2022 before he really shines. However he could beat out Gordon to more touches and be a great success early. I’d be happy taking him anywhere after pick 8.
12. Mac Jones (9.6)
Jones is probably the most intriguing pick of all the QB’s in this years class. He lands in a great situation in NE and will sooner or later become the starter. Depending on how Cam plays you may have to be patient. If you can afford to wait a little for a QB he’s with the risk at the end of round 1.
